Everytime a birthday or a gift giving day comes around we all have the same problem, what to buy for someone who already has everything they want or deserves something that little bit different. When money is no object buying a present for someone is a lot easier but it's not always about spending the bucks to get the present, sometimes the best present is the one that has been thought about and created from nothing. These are the gifts that tend to be cherished for years to come and still be spoken of with fondness long after the gift has gone. So how can you achieve this great gift on a shoestring target? As I've already said even if you have the money to buy a top notch gift it's not always about the money spent. Make a little effort go a long long way and create something special for someone. You can get ideas for gifts from books and online resource websites and the materials for these gifts are usually readily available in craft and hobby stores. If you're not too handy in the making and creating department why not take a photograph of somewhere that holds special memories for the person and have it specially framed for them, gifts that rekindle happy memories always bring a smile to people's faces. For kids you can arrange an extra special day on a tight budget by surprising them by inviting a few of their friend around for tea and playing a few games, kids really love surprises and these memories will stay in a child's memory for a long time. Before your child gets home from school why not fill the front or living room full of colourful balloons so when they arrive home all they see is a room filled to the brim with wonderful balloons, any kid would love this surprise. Loved ones are a little harder to surprise with original gifts as most gifts to loved ones tend to be on special days such as Valentines Day, Christmas day, birthdays or anniversaries, the last thing you want your loved one to think is that you are a cheap skate. Here you really have to be original and fantastically imaginative. Romance is usually the best gift to give a partner, even if it means that you have to buy that extra special present for your loved one but as an extra special gift just go that extra mile where the romance is concerned. On the special day why not have champagne on ice waiting for your partner as they arrive home from work or have a hot bubble bath set up with candles waiting for them to soak the day's stresses and strains away as you cook a meal for them. These are gifts and surprises that you cannot overdo as they will lose that "wow" affect but when given sparingly you will be a hero for weeks to come. But the ultimate gift and memory to give to a loved one is one of the cheapest but most original ideas yet. Go out to a florist store and buy twenty four mixed colour roses and take them home and gently pull all of the petals off, keeping just one rose intact. Take all of the petals and gently scatter these then on the bed. You can either do this in a random fashion or you can maybe form them into the shape of a love heart. This will melt the heart of anyone, I guarantee you, and you will still get change out of thirty dollars.
